Ironic Website Techniques: presentation by Jim Huber

Today Jim discussed things "professional" Web designers do to sites and e-mail newsletters that have negative consequences. Jim dissected techniques that are done to coerce certain behaviors from users, but often cause the opposite behavior, or at least fail to accomplish their goals.

Jim was unable to use the projector as planned, but managed to recover and still captivated his audience.

Jim presented the topic to the Loudoun Network Alliance (LNA), a LeadShare networking group within the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. The presentation was at Velocity 5 in Lansdowne, Virginia (former location of the Dock).
